We won the Room 6&7 shield!

We have a shield between Room 6 & 7 which we compete for in different races. Today it was a relay in the pool and we won the shield! This is our first time winning the shield this year! Yay! Go us!

Buddies

After learning our new six times table song we decided to create a song with our buddies to a times table of our choice. We could choose a song or make up a new song. We used our devices to help us listen to the beat when writing our lyrics. 

Special Spot!

We did Special Spot today to an awesome six times table song. We had been working really hard all week on this! We wanted to show other kids at school a different and fun way to learn their times tables! 

House captain Voting Friday

Don't forget this Friday if you want to try out for house captain you need to have your speeches ready (year 6 only).
Remember to include the following in your speech:

• Why you would make a good house captain

• What you can offer to your house

• What is important to you about being a house captain

• No more than 1 minute tops in length
